I was born in a little Lancashire Village called Prestolee. I had an older sister Gwendoline Mary Fish and a younger brother David Frederick Fish. My parents were both Cotton Workers in Mills called Irwell one and Irwell two. My mothers name was Bertha one of 18 children.Her maiden name being Sykes. My father was one of six children. Three of them went to Canada as my father lost his mother so another relation said if he could find the money she would take them to Canada. So the only way for that to happen was to sell the family home. Alas he had not got enough for himself so he stayed behind. He was given a new home made of Accrington Brick by the local council No 21 where some of my family still live, although they have bought it now. One evening I went to look after my two granddaughters Celine and Catrin who wanted a story but not from all their mothers childhood selection, Lady Bird Enid Blyton to name two. So I made up the little story about two little fairies who where sisters Using part of each of their names CELRIN. Celine became the Cygnet Fairy a who looked after the baby cygnets and Catrin was the Clover Fairy, she put all the four leaved Clover in the clover patch for humans to find.
