She is the coeditor (with Frances Contreras) of The Latino Education Crisis: The Consequences of Failed Social Policies and the author of Over the Ivy Walls: The Educational Mobility of Low-Income Chicanos, also published by SUNY Press. Bryant Jensen is Associate Professor in the Department of Teacher Education at BYU. He is the coeditor (with Adam Sawyer) of Regarding Educación: Mexican-American Schooling, Immigration, and Bi-National Improvement.
