A Study of Chinese Poetry is compiled by Academy of Chinese Poetry and The Research Center for Chinese Ancient Literature of Fudan University. Volume II is composed of five columns: "Poetics Construction", "Scanning of Poetry History", "Poetry Education", "Poetry Communication", and "Overseas Chinese Poetry", with a total of 17 articles covering both ancient and modern times from two perspectives of research and creation and involving China and foreign countries. It makes an overall survey of Chinese poetry, discusses the inheritance and innovation of Chinese poetry, and has obvious positive effect on guiding and promoting the healthy development of contemporary poetry creation and criticism.
