Richard Trim is Senior Lecturer in English linguistics and Translation Studies at the University of Provence, France. He has worked as both a professional translator at the European Communities, Luxembourg, and as a university lecturer in a number of different European countries including Britain, Germany, Belgium and Switzerland. His main field of research is within metaphor studies and he has published works in both the translation, as well as the historical evolution, of figurative language.Sophie Alatorre is Senior Lecturer in English Literature at the University of Provence, France. Her main research field and publications involve Shakespeare“s classical mythology and early modern English translations of French literary texts.
