Introduction to the Bible: Overview, Historical Context, and Cultural Perspectives. Introduction to the Bible, the first book in the series, lays the groundwork for readers to understand the Bible. Fr. William A. Anderson helps readers understand historical and cultural contexts, ‚hear‘ oral traditions, and ‚meet‘ the writers of the books of the Bible.
