Ernestina Carrilho is Assistant Professor in Linguistics at the University of Lisbon, and Researcher at the Center for Linguistics of the University of Lisbon. Her main research work is in the areas of Romance dialectology and comparative syntax, with special focus on Portuguese dialect syntax. She is a member of the international geolinguistic projects Atlas Linguistique Roman and Atlas Linguarum Europae, and a codeveloper of the first syntactically annotated corpus of European Portuguese dialects.Catarina Magro is Invited Assistant Professor at the Lisbon College of Education and Researcher at the Center for Linguistics of the University of Lisbon. Over the last decade, she has been involved in several research projects on dialect syntax. She has conducted theoretical research on topics of European Portuguese syntax and codeveloped the first syntactically annotated corpus of European Portuguese dialects.Xosé Álvarez is Researcher at the Center for Linguistics of the University of Lisbon and the Instituto da Lingua Galega (University of Santiago de Compostela). His main areas of work are multilingualism and Romance dialectology and lexicology. He is a member of various international research projects, such as the Atlas Linguistique Roman, the Dictionnaire Étymologique Roman and the Tesouro do Léxico Patrimonial Galego e Portugués.
