Mixed urinary incontinence (MUI) is defined as the complaint of involuntary leakage associated with urgency and effort, exertion, sneezing and coughing. Urge urinary incontinence (UUI) is defined as the complaint of involuntary leakage accompanied by or immediately preceded by urgency; overflow incontinence, and functional incontinence.
