In the first part of the book, the theoretical basics of the ability to read and write are discussed. The normal procedures of acquiring writing skills as well as possible dysfunctions are laid out in detail and systematised theoretically.
In the following chapters these clear structures aid the analysis of concrete dysfunctions: e.g. dyslexia and the debate on differing causes.
In the second part of the book education and training programmes are presented. Effective strategies and methods from the vast array of furthering material that have been proven empirically are introduced.
