Alasdair Fotheringham es un periodista freelance británico radicado en España. Ha cubierto diecisiete Tours de Francia y quince Vueltas a España, así como muchas otras carreras importantes. Entrevistó a Bahamontes por primera vez en 1993. Actualmente es corresponsal de ciclismo del Independent y también ha escrito para las principales publicaciones ciclistas británicas Cycling Weekly y Cycle Sport.
