Chapter Two analyzes the psychometric properties of the Academic Uncertainty Questionnaire (AUQ) in Argentinian university students during COVID-19. It addresses the impact of academic uncertainties on psychological well-being in Argentinian University students during social isolation. Chapter 3 examines recent data indicating the trend of socio-cultural changes exerted by the COVID-19 pandemic, leading to an increasing use of new information and communication technologies (NICTs), which is associated with problems in people’s physical and psychological health, especially in the younger age group. Chapter 4 looks at basic theories on why false memories occur, the cross-race effect, schema’s various effects, the weapon focus effect, and the innocent bystander effect. Chapter 5 is a literature review to better understand the usage and misuse of morphine (MOR). The chapter looked into the various models of use/misuse of MOR substances, as well as its diagnostic challenges, screening techniques, and treatment options for MOR, heroine, and MOR sulfate abuse. In addition, it can have varied intensity and manifestation. There is an increasing amount of data indicating that inflammation may underlie depressive episodes. This chapter provides a detailed analysis of the factors that may affect mood, based primarily on the analysis of the functioning of the immune system and markers of inflammation. In Chapter 8, the appearance of injuries suffered by high-performance Cuban athletes, as well as the manifestation of resilience capacity to overcome adversity, is explored in detail.
