This Compendium is actually an excellent database source
guide that can empower fans, club owners and
contemporary jazz pianists in instantaneously expanding
the universe of researchable jazz pianists to more than
2, 000. There’s the added bonus of the complete
discographies of two very special jazz artists, plus the
author’s fascinating detail recounting of the poignant
impact one of them had in inspiring him to spend
incalculable hours as a labor of love over the span of
several years in compiling the book’s database.

Sobre el autor
Arnie Fox was born in 1941 in Philadelphia, PA. He graduated from Drexel University with a B.S. in accounting and later was in the insurance and investment business for twenty-nine years. He retired in 1997 and plays for over 200 different nursing homes and assisted living facilities throughout the year. In addition, he performs at weddings, parties and cocktail lounges. He prefers performing for the senior citizens, because many residents greatly appreciate the music, and share his love for the ‘old standards’.
Arnie Fox is primarily a self-taught musician. After twenty years, he decided to take lessons for ten months. He has been playing the piano and keyboard for over forty years, and has been playing professionally for more than twenty years. He describes himself as primarily a singer, jazz and pop musician who enjoys playing the music of George Gershwin, Duke Ellington and Cole Porter.
He has collected records for most of his life and has over 3000 albums and CD’s which are mainly vocals and jazz piano. He is always looking for that new jazz pianist.
He resides in Bucks County with his wife, Diana and daughter, Pamela and their two cats, Inkspot and Tyger.
