Pirates, enchanted mirrors, mermaids, evil villains, and triumphant heroes, there is certainly a tale for everyone. What is so enticing about short stories? Perhaps it is the idea of a simple sketch going from a faint image to being completely painted by our imaginations. Not only this but with any story we create our own characters, voicing, backdrops, plot-twists, and fears, or hopes. What lies between these few pages is a glimpse of something that for everyone will be completely unique unto themselves. I as the writer would like to challenge you to look for something different that makes each story not mine, but your own. Where your imagination stops no one can tell, and through whatever medium you choose to indulge it, enjoy.

The writer holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the prestigious College of the Ozarks; however, he enjoys writing in his spare time. The Illustrator, is a part-time artist, and has done several works for public schools, other published works, and is working on a children’s book. This is the first collaborative work they have done, however they have been close all their lives; after all, she is his aunt.
