Carolyn Booker-Pierce
Loving the Addict [EPUB ebook]
While Taking Care of Yourself First

Soporte

Loving people that are unstable is not always easy, but we love them anyway. That love doesn’t automatically go away due to an addiction. When a family member, friend, or someone close to us, has an addiction, how do we love them? What does that love look like?

What are we to do when our loved one is lost and stops taking care of themselves? What happens when their compulsive, uncontrollable, and chronic behaviors tread on our trust?

A few of the conversations that we’ll be having in this book include:

·     Self-Compassion

·     Setting Healthy Boundaries

·     Knowing When to Say, ‘NO’

·     And much more
