Soporte
David Fletcher landed in a maternity ward on July 25, 1961 in a small farming community in South Georgia. It was from there that he managed to rise through the ranks of childhood, securing a standard public education diploma and seeking to attend college. The Atlanta College of Art accepted him and with the financial assistance of a relative, he stuck it out for a half-year or so. Aside from a semester-and-a-half of night school much later in life, he has no other academic achievements to boast of. He is blessed with two wonderful daughters, the embodiment of his earthly hope, as well as a source of his occasional heartbreak. Obviously, his twice-divorced status contributed heavily to this book and cemented his real world education. David is presently a design consultant residing in the Greater Atlanta area. He lives there with Suzanne, his remarkable wife, and two stepsons. His time is often spent in solitude (most of that…alone) and he admits to reading during all bathroom breaks. His literary collection is a source of pride for him–but there is scant evidence of novels or fiction standing on his pine shelves. History, religion and relevant tales of Southern lore make up most of his library. He is notoriously shy, therefore, an awful public speaker. He claims few friends, but they are solid rocks. He has a multitude of flaws but rises early in the mornings. David holds to an unshakeable faith in one God and feels that he is an undeserving recipient of a providential gift of the unique insight into life and the puzzlement it brings us all. Suffice to say…he tries really hard.
