Dr Dominic Pimenta is a Cardiology Registrar based in London. He has written for numerous national newspapers and appeared on various TV and radio programmes, including BBC Breakfast, Good Morning Britain and Channel 4 News. He was frequently interviewed and wrote published articles in the run-up to and throughout the pandemic. In March 2020, while also working in the ICU, he set up a charity, HEROES (Help Them Help Us), aimed at protecting the welfare and wellbeing of NHS workers.
