Elena Glockzin is a research assistant and doctoral candidate at the Chair of International Politics and Conflict Studies at the University of the Bundeswehr Munich. She studied Political Science, Sociology, and Administration and Politics of Public Institutions in Würzburg, Bologna, and Bolzano. Her research focuses on processes of subjectivation concerning political conflicts in everyday life, with a particular emphasis on potential divisions regarding European integration and identity. The empirical focus of this research is on Italy. Stephan Stetter is Professor of International Politics and Conflict Studies at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Public Affairs at the University of the Bundeswehr Munich. His research focuses on theories of international politics in Global Modernity, primarily from a historical-sociological and socio-theoretical perspective; politics, conflicts, and society in the Middle East, with a focus on Israel and Palestine, as well as EU external relations, particularly the European Neighbourhood Policy.
