Hadrian Lankiewicz received his PhD from the University of Gdańsk, Poland, and is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Applied Linguistics and Translation Studies at the University of Gdańsk, and the Head of the English Studies Department at Stanisław Staszic State School of Higher Vocational Education in Piła. His scientific interests oscillate between history, American literature and applied linguistics, with a primary focus on language acquisition and foreign language teaching methodology. As the author of numerous articles, books and editor and co-editor of academic volumes, he has an established reputation as a researcher.Emilia Wąsikiewicz-Firlej received an MA in English Studies and a PhD in Applied Linguistics from Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznań, Poland, where she currently works as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Ecocommunication. Her research delves into applied linguistics and communication studies, focusing on professional communication, intercultural communication, communicative competence, and the discourse of business and advertising. She has co-edited five monographs, published a number of papers in academic journals, and contributed chapters to several books.
