The Hardy boys’ summer is in ruins because a red-haired robber has been all over town! The Tower Treasure is home to the wealthiest family in the town. The caretaker is at blame and requires the help from the Hardy boys to prove his innocence. The boys are running out of time as the thief gets ways with the stolen jewels!

Franklin W. Dixon is the pen name taken by a collection of various authors who wrote the Hardy Boys series. Charles Mc Farlane is thought to have written the first 16 books in the series, while the outlines and plots to the initial books were brought to life by Edward Stratemeyer. The daughters of Edward (Edna & Harriet) are thought to have continued the work, alongside various other editors and writers. In the late 1950’s, some of the titles were we-written and shortened to 20 chapters each, while making the content more politically correct for the time. Many fans however, prefer to read the original texts, such as this one.
