This book explores the relationship between tourism and high-magnitude storm events, including cyclones, hurricanes and typhoons and flooding, across all stages of a disaster. It considers the measures available to manage tourism after major storms and floods, examines the means to mitigate the potential impacts of these disasters on tourism, and provides insights into the ethical and socioeconomic issues facing tourism after a major flood or storm.
