Whilst the greatest effort has been made to ensure the quality of this text, due to the historical nature of this content, in some rare cases there may be minor issues with legibility. Though this book can in no sense be regarded as an epitome of the others, it yet forms the best introduction to them. M. Edouard Le Boy in his lately published book on M. Bergson’s philosophy speaks of this marvelously suggestive study which constitutes the best preface to the books themselves.
