Henry Harland (1861 – 1905) war ein US-amerikanischer Schriftsteller und Herausgeber. Seine Romane wurden zu den ersten populärwissenschaftlichen Büchern, die sich mit dem amerikanischen Judentum beschäftigten, das Harland sowohl feierte als auch kritisierte. 1894 wurde er zum Gründungsredakteur von Das Yellow Book. Die Kurzgeschichtensammlungen dieser neuen Periode wurden von den Kritikern gelobt, erfreuten sich aber kaum allgemeiner Beliebtheit. Harland starb 1905 in Sanremo, Italien, nach einer längeren Tuberkulose-Phase.
