‘Without Dogma’ is a novel of manners by Henryk Sienkiewicz. Its narrative concentrates around the experiences of Leon Płoszowski, a man from a wealthy aristocratic family, who struggles to find the meaning of life in world without morality by trying to self-analyze his feelings towards the encountered women.

Henryk Adam Aleksander Pius Sienkiewicz, also known by the pseudonym ‘Litwos’, (1846 – 1916) was a Polish journalist, novelist and Nobel Prize laureate. He is best remembered for his historical novels, especially for his internationally known best-seller Quo Vadis.
