Sobre el autor

The author was born in China to Korean parents during World War II and spent his childhood and adolescence in Korea. His early childhood was marred by the Korean War. He went through some difficult periods as he grew up, unequipped to deal with the social ills pervasive in the country. He came to the US in 1970 as a student. He received a master’s degree at the University of Alaska in 1972 and a Ph D at the University of Florida in 1976. He worked for several consulting firms before he settled down in Charlotte, North Carolina. He retired in 2006 after working for Duke Energy for twenty-five years. He then started his own consulting firm, providing technical services mostly to Duke Energy. He lives with his wife in Sneads Ferry, North Carolina. He has two grown children.
