E-mental health has brought about massive changes to the landscape of healthcare delivery, social health, and even on the geo-political scale. Along with these massive technological leaps, there are accompanying repercussions that are not all beneficial. When we break it down, the prefix e- indicates electronic and mental health refers to our psychological well-being. When combined, we draw the expansive definition for e-mental health: our psychological well-being in an electronic space. This electronic space can be any aspect of the digital world – virtual reality, social media, entertainment, apps, websites, etc. As it entrenches itself into our everyday life, we must explore its benefits but stay skeptical to its detriments.
