Joseph (Jose Lopez) is the son of Jose and Lydia Lopez. He grew up in South Texas. He spent most of his childhood in Mc Allen Texas. He graduated from P.S.J.A. High School. He attended the University of Texas Pan American. He then transferred to the University of Texas at San Antonio. He earned a Bachelor and Master of Arts in Education. He taught 4th and 5th grade for 2 years at Northside I.S.D. Unsuccessful at full time teaching employment, Joe found work as a security guard first at a bank then at a dairy factory.
Joe played football in middle school. He’s a big fan of the Dallas Cowboys. Joe also rides motorcycles. As a boy, his daddy taught him how to ride and bought him his first bike. Joe spent lots of time riding with his biker buddies in his youth. Joe was introduced to Shakespear, English and writing in middle school. However, it was a pretty girl that led Joe into a creative writing class. Although Joe was unlucky at romance, he developed a love for writing.
