Dr. Manjula Kulshreshtha Saxena, Ph.D., F.S.E.Bc., a faculty member, Department of Botany, University of Rajasthan, Jaipur is actively engaged in teaching and research for last 23 years. She got a number of grants from DST (major project, DST young Scientist project and WWF for nature for doing research in applied field particularly on biocontrol of pest using allelopathy. She has published 71 research articles in various international and national journals. She also attended 14 international and 30 national conferences in India and abroad. She is a member of many international and national societies of Botany and Environment. She is doing research on diversified field including problems of environment, environmental biotechnology, fresh water biology, and allelpathy. Her research work on biocontrol of pest and pesticides and decomposition has been recognized at international level. She got international awards «Prof.E.P.Odum Gold Medal» in the year 2007. She has authored 26 books in various subjects of Botany. Dr. B.B.S. Kapoor Ph.D., F.S.Sc is working as a Associate Professor in P.G. department of Botany, Govt. Dunger College, Bikaner. He is actively engaged in research especially on Ecology of Rajasthan Desert and Medicinal plants of this region. He has published a number of research papers and articles in reputed scientific journals, magazines and books, conducted several research projects and has been supervising M.Phil and Ph.D. scholar. He has fifteen books to his credit. He is environmental thinker, educator and campaigner and is often invited by school, Govt. and Non Govt. institution and organisations to deliver lectures on burning environmental issues and herbal plants. He is on the panel of All India radio, TV & ETV as an herbal expert. He has participated in a number of national and international seminar, conferences and workshop. He has honoured with several state and national level awards in the field of popularization of science and research of medicinal plants.
