Mary Patterson earned her undergraduate degree from Liberty University. She was awarded a Certificate in Creative Writing from Duke University. Her articles have been featured in Police Magazine and Minority Voice. She wrote, directed and produced the film Hunting Jane and the documentary Soldier’s Stories which appeared on PBS.
