He is author of 70 articles and 2 books in the fields of science and engineering: mathematics, computer science, physics, chemistry, crystallography, oceanography and meteorology. His mathematical work concerns graph theory, polytope theory, tiling and their applications, geometry of numbers, and computational topology. MIKHAIL IVANOVICH SHTOGRIN is a leading research associate of Steklov Institute of Mathematics in the Russian Academy of Sciences, Moscow, Russia. He is author of over 120 research publications and 2 books on discrete geometry and geometric crystallography.
