Candida Yates is Professor of Culture and Communication at Bournemouth University. She is an interdisciplinary scholar in Psychosocial Studies and its application to politics, emotion, culture and society and has published widely in that field. She works with psychoanalytic practitioners, scholars and cultural organisations to create new understandings of emotion in the public sphere. Her publications include:
