ROBERT WEATHERLEY is an affiliated lecturer at the Department of Politics and International Studies, University of Cambridge, UK. He is also a lawyer with the English law firm Mills & Reeve LLP, and heads the firm’s China group. He is the author of
The Discourse of Human Rights in China (Palgrave Macmillan, 1999) and
Politics in China since 1949.
