Samúel Lefever is an Associate Professor at the University of Iceland, where he teaches language teaching methodology. He completed a BA degree in Sociology at Kansas State University, USA, in 1978 and an MA in Education in Teaching English as a Second Language at the University of Kansas, USA, in 1993. He has conducted research on the English skills of young children in Iceland and on English teaching and learning at all school levels. His recent publications include articles and chapters which focus on immigrants» language use and participation in Icelandic schools and society.
