This book gathers selected papers presented at 4th International Conference on Communication and Computational Technologies (ICCCT 2022), jointly organized by Soft Computing Research Society (SCRS) and Rajasthan Institute of Engineering & Technology (RIET), Jaipur, during February 26–27 2022. The book is a collection of state-of-the art research work in the cutting-edge technologies related to the communication and intelligent systems. Sandeep Kumar is currently an associate professor at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bangalore, India. He received his Ph.D. degree in computer science and engineering from Jagannath University Jaipur in 2015, the Master of Technology degree from RTU Kota in 2011, and the Bachelor of Engineering degree from Engineering College Kota in 2005. He was also a postdoctoral researcher leading a sentiment analysis team at Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (2021). He is an associate editor for ‘Human-centric Computing and Information Sciences (HCIS).’ Dr. Kumar has published more than seventy research articles in well-known SCI/SCOPUS-indexed international journals and conferences and attended several national and international conferences and workshops. He has authored/edited seven books in the area of computer science. His research interests include nature-inspired algorithms, swarm intelligence, soft computing, and computational intelligence.
Saroj Hiranwal is currently principal at Rajasthan Institute of Engineering and Technology, Jaipur. Dr. Saroj is a Doctor of Philosophy (CSE) in Computer Science and Engineering; her research interests include high-performance scientific computing, real-time systems, and cloud computing. She has a Bachelor of Engineering and Master and Technology degree in Information Technology and has 16 years of professional experience teaching technical courses. Her expertise includes operating systems, real-time systems, and object-oriented programming. She has contributed to several national and international seminars, workshops, and conferences. Her research work has been published in various national and international journals. She has written books on information protection and security systems.
Sunil Dutt Purohit is an Associate professor of Mathematics at Rajasthan Technical University, Kota, India. He did his Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Mathematics and Ph.D. in Mathematics from Jai Narayan Vyas University, Jodhpur, India. He was awarded the University Gold Medal for being the topper in M.Sc. Mathematics and awarded Junior Research Fellowship and Senior Research Fellow of Council of Scientific and Industrial Research. He primarily teaches subjects like integral transforms, complex analysis, numerical analysis, and optimization techniques in graduate and post-graduate level courses in engineering mathematics. His research interests include special functions, basic hypergeometric series, fractional calculus, geometric function theory, mathematical analysis and modelling. He’s credited more than 200 research articles and four books so far. He has delivered talks at foreign and national institutions. He has also organized several academic events. He is a Life Member of the Indian Mathematical Society (IMS), Indian Science Congress Association (ISCA), Indian Academy of Mathematics (IAM), Soft Computing Research Society, India (SCRS) and Society for Special Functions and their Applications, and Member of American Mathematical Society (AMS) and International Association of Engineers (IAENG). Presently, he is the general secretary of the Rajasthan Ganita Parishad. He has also contributed to designing and redesigning the engineering mathematics syllabus for UD and PG coursework.
Mukesh Prasad is a senior lecturer at the School of Computer Science in the Faculty of Engineering and IT at UTS who has made substantial contributions to machine learning, artificial intelligence, and the internet of things. Mukesh’s research interests include big data, computer vision, brain-computer interface, and evolutionary computation. He is also working in the evolving and increasingly important field of image processing, data analytics, and edge computing, which promise to pave the way for the evolution of new applications and services in the area of health care, biomedical, agriculture, smart cities, education, marketing, and finance. His research has appeared in numerous prestigious journals, including IEEE/ACM Transactions and conferences; he has written more than 100 research papers. Mukesh started his academic career as a lecturer with UTS in 2017 and became a core member of the University’s world-leading Australian Artificial Intelligence Institute (AAII), which has the vision to develop theoretical foundations and advanced technologies for AI and to drive progress in related areas. His research is backed by industry experience, specifically in Taiwan, where he was the principal engineer (2016–17) at the Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC). He developed new algorithms for image processing and pattern recognition using machine learning techniques. He was also a postdoctoral researcher leading a big data and computer vision team at National Chiao Tung University, Taiwan (2015). Mukesh received an M.S. degree from the School of Computer and Systems Sciences, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, India (2009), and a Ph.D. from the Department of Computer Science, National Chiao Tung University, Taiwan (2015).
