Sarah Dry es escritora e historiadora de la ciencia. Estudió en Harvard University, Imperial College London y University of Cambridge, en la que fue Gates Scholar. Ha recibido becas de investigación en el Centre for Analysis of Risk and Regulation de la London School of Economics y en el Institute for Development Studies de la University of Sussex. En 2015-2016 recibió una de las 36 becas públicas inaugurales concedidas por el US National Endowment for the Humanities. Es también autora de The Newton Papers: The Strange and True Odyssey of Isaac Newton»s Manuscripts. Es fideicomisaria del Science Museum Group, donde trabaja en el Collections and Research Committee y en el Advisory Board for the National Science and Media Museum. Sus temas de investigación incluyen la historia del clima y la meteorología, las políticas de salud global y la representación pública de la ciencia y los científicos.
