Stan Schmidt has studied the Bible for twenty-five years. He received a degree in theology from Bethany College of Missions, as well as having spent time in India and Zimbabwe doing missionary work. He has read over four hundred books on theology and the Christian life, as well as having written two devotionals–Beyond the Noises and The Calming Thunder. He has also written eight books of poetry including Soul Mate»s Gust and Thistle for a Flower. Recently he has written nine commentaries on different books of the Bible. He teaches adult Sunday school and leads a Monday night Bible study.
