Yvonne Moore was born in Jamaica, West Indies, where she started writing short stories during her childhood. She had given up her dream to become a writer for many years, but started writing again in 1995. Her fiction has appeared in the Villager and other publications, and she is also the author of Out of Control, a collection of mini mysteries. She has been a resident of Hawaii since the eighties.
