Evangelia Sembou was born in Athens, Greece. She holds a BA in Politics and History from Queen Mary and Westfield College of London University, an MSc in Social and Political Theory from the University of Edinburgh, and a DPhil in Politics from Oxford University. She is the current convenor of the Political Thought Specialist Group of the Political Studies Association of the UK.
