A. J. Turner was born in August 1970, and left high school in 1986 with no distinguishing qualifications but armed with the most powerful of all lifes toolsher imagination. After years of mundane jobs, and then working full time at the most important job of her lifebeing a mother to five beautiful children, she decided to utilise her passion for writing and share her imagination with others in the form of her first novel in the Dead Skin series. Writing for A. J. is something that, apart from looking after her family, she loves doing more than anything else. She lives, with her family, in the small picturesque village of Cleobury Mortimer in Shropshire.
