Conon Bridge had been discarded by the Ministry of Defense after saving the lives of an elite US Navy SEALS team who were hunting for Osama bin Laden. Andrew Shepherd grew up in Dingwall in the Scottish Highlands. He is a serving police officer and also served in Britain’s elite Royal Marines Commandos, which gave him a lot of inspiration for the adventures of the main character, Conon Bridge.
