Ann Ryan has worked as a teacher and senior administrator in the secondary education sector in both Australia and overseas. As a senior curriculum manager she was responsible for national curriculum design and development in Papua New Guinea. She has published a series of environmental studies text books and a series of general science text books. Her research interests focus on curriculum and pedagogy with an interest in science education.
