Aristotle (384322 BC) was a Greek philosopher and polymath during the Classical period in Ancient Greece. Arthur Schopenhauer (22 February 1788 21 September 1860) was a German philosopher. He is best known for his 1818 work The World as Will and Representation (expanded in 1844), which characterizes the phenomenal world as the product of a blind and insatiable metaphysical will. Robert Louis Stevenson (13 November 1850 3 December 1894) was a Scottish novelist, poet and travel writer, most noted for Treasure Island, Kidnapped, Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, and A Child’s Garden of Verses.
