Axel Stähler is Lecturer in the School for European Culture and Languages at the University of Kent in Canterbury. He has published widely on Jewish literature and culture of the Anglophone and German-speaking Jewish diasporas and from Israel. His research interests also include fundamentalism and literature, early modern European festival culture and intermediality. Among his recent publications is an edited collection of articles on Anglophone Jewish Literature (2007); his monograph on Zion »s Fiction. Postcolonial Fictions of Jewish Identities is forthcoming.Klaus Stierstorfer is Professor of English at the University of Münster, Germany. His research interests include fundamentalism and literature, the new English literatures, nineteenth-century drama and postmodernism. His publications include John Oxenford (1812–1877) as Farceur and Critic of Comedy (1996); (ed., introd., annot.), London Assurance and Other Victorian Comedies (Oxford World »s Classics, 2001); Konstruktion literarischer Vergangenheit (2001); and (series editor) Women Writing Home, 6 vols (2006).
