I was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia (USA). In growing up, I always loved people, animals, nature, and art. When attending college, I received degrees in Art and Humanistic Psychology. This helped tremendously in unlocking the door to ‘the world out there’ as well as ‘the world within.’ It helped me not only to bring a greater understanding of myself and the things that had happened in my life, but also, of others. It made me feel needed and helpful in lending to a happier and healthier life for both children and adults. I found an even greater opportunity to convey this through writing and illustrating.
