Beth Walsh-Moorman is currently a literacy specialist supporting educators throughout northeast Ohio. She was a high school English teacher for more than twenty years before teaching at the university level and beginning her consulting work. Her career in education honors the legacy of her mother, Betty Walsh, who was a fifth-grade teacher for more than three decades.
Kristine E. Pytash is a professor in teaching, learning, and curriculum studies at the College of Education, Health, and Human Services (EHHS) at Kent State University, where she directs the Secondary Integrated Language Arts Teacher Preparation program. She is a former high school English teacher.
