This is a true story, but because it took place so long ago it may not be true chronological sequence. The more I write the more episodes and incidents come back to me, the more real it is in remembering and I can still see the people and places vividly in my mind.

Charles Kingsley was born in Johannesburg and after graduating moved to
Kwa Zulu Natal where he was instrumental in the establishment of 5 private
practices in different areas which now support some 15 vets.
He has practiced in the various veterinary disciplines of small animals, was
a pioneer in dairy and beef herd management, spent many years running a
thoroughbred stud farm and in a mixed practice.
His wide experience has brought him into contact with a great many people,
animals and situations, some of the more amusing incidents are documented in
this book for your enjoyment.
