Christine assumed the role of caregiver for her beloved mother and later, her aunt for many years. She cherished these precious women who nurtured and loved her for her entire life and considered it a privileged to care for them as they aged and could no longer care for themselves. It was a chance to give back with love to these two special people who had given so much of themselves, to their family, and made decades of happy memories for everyone. The author is retired social worker from Suffolk County, New York. The illustrator for this children »s book is an art teacher at a long island school district. We are donating a portion of royalty proceeds to Alzheimer’s research.
