For so long it seemed that I wouldnt be able to have any children. Then to have not only one, but two within ten months was better than winning the lottery! Our boys were so much fun and such great brothers that as their mom, I sometimes had a hard time keeping up with them! I have told the story of our family to many people over the years, and I always get the same surprised reaction. Its just such a happy ending; it brings smiles to everyone who hears it! I think of our lives so often, I decided I had to share our story!
A propos de l’auteur
Having been a California kid my entire life, I was raised in the San Fernando Valley, moving to the High Sierra town of Bishop at the age of fifteen. Marrying a local boy, we eventually settled in the Mojave Desert. My parents lived there and were just wonderful helpers with our dynamic sons as they grew up over the years.
I was able to stay at home until both boys were in kindergarten. My first job was working with learning disabled adults at the community college for nine years; then I began a clerical career with the local school district until my retirement in 2009.
Since then I have been learning to quilt and still play piano. In addition to our grandchildren, we have seven dogs that keep us busy, and life is good!
