Darnel Bergmann father was killed in a mysterious mining accident after discovering a deposit of Iridium and Platinum. Shortly after that, his mother sent him to his Uncles in the Twin Suns system to keep him safe. A few years later he heard that his mother had been killed in another accident. On Pachama he grew into manhood and was educated to become a mining engineer. He returned to his families claim to find that it had been taken over by the conglomerate he believed killed his parents. With the aid of his boyhood friend he set out to establish his claim to the surrounding land and to find out who murdered his mother and father.
