I am new to writing books my book “Brethren of the Black Spot” was written in 2009, this is my first book. Trying to get my book published was a lot harder than I ever expected. I have found writing to be a real challenge and a life changing event for me. When I write I know I do not write alone but I feel a force around me helping me perhaps that is my guardian angel or maybe God. I have been thinking about my book for a long time before I wrote my first words trying in my mind to make the story logical, interesting and exciting. I had a business for 26 years in the construction industry that closed in 2008 during a bad time in the construction business. I have been writing my poetry for many years not really the same process. I am open to learning more about my writing.
