Dorothy L. Sayers was a renowned English crime writer, playwright, theologian and translator. In the history of reasoning fiction, Sayers is a great name: she, Agatha Christie and Josephine Tey are known as "Three Heroines of Reasoning"; she is also the only great writer with five works selected to the list of Top 100 most prestigious reasoning fictions in the UK and the US. The Nine Tailors tells the story of kind-hearted Lady Thorpe who died of illness and was buried under the church bells. Soon after, her husband, Mr. Thorpe also died.
