Bis in die 60er Jahre des 20. Jahrhunderts war die Stadt am Golf ein Sehnsuchtsort, und auch heute noch blühen die Zitronen in Unteritalien. Until the 1960’s the city situated on the Gulf was a place of desire and even today lemons are still blossoming in Southern Italy. This volume with essays from archaeology, study fields of history, art, music, film and literature depict that Naples also was and still is a hotbed of unrest, of shadiness not to say disreputability. The city is as porous as the volcanic tuff on which Parthenope once was built.
